Bulldog On-Site Solutions is currently seeking qualified machinery movers/riggers to work mostly in the metro-Detroit area on robot cell installations, machinery moving projects, industrial construction, and industrial services projects. Bulldog delivers machinery moving, installation, and other industrial services projects to its select customer base. Requirements ·Competent machinery mover/rigger with experience in all aspects of installing and moving industrial machinery and equipment. ·Complete rigging projects working with all types of machinery and equipment including presses, mills, weld cells, assembly cells, fixtures, mezzanines, etc. ·Ability to plan jobs, estimate load weights and determine best equipment selections and rigging solutions for each unique circumstance. ·Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. ·Ability to work under limited supervision, and work alongside other employees and subcontractors to act as a cohesive team. ·Confidently operate heavy equipment such as gantry, overhead and mobile crane, forklifts (3 ton - 40 ton), scissor lifts, and aerial lifts. ·Strong knowledge of hand and power tools, cutting torch, welder, and other tools and equipment used to accomplish rigging jobs. ·Ability to recognize problems and issues and achieve resolutions in a timely manner. ·Ability to read and understand technical drawings such as layout prints, machine schematics, and construction detail drawings to determine the scope of work, locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required. ·Maintain a high level of safety awareness. ·Communicate leads, potential change orders, and potential time and material opportunities to the supervisor. ·Able to travel occasionally.
