Warehouse and Order Selectors will be responsible for filling orders accurately in a safe and timely manner while assisting and maintaining the highest degree of quality and customer service. Job Duties are (but not limited to): • Metal/steel distribution, fabrication a plus – sheet or bar or pipe • Fill orders – Pick tickets – must check all info such as grade, quantity, heat numbers, etc. • Pull material using forklifts – heavy duty forklift, Narrow Reach forklift and Overhead Crane experience, a plus, in order to move material • Load & unload from trucks • Must be able to read a tape measure and understand fractions. • No felonies last 7 years, no recent assault or theft misdemeanors last 3 years. • Bilingual NOT required. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Ability to pass a background and drug screen Must be physically fit Must be able to stand, lift, climb and other agile functions Ability to read pick tickets, tape measures, micrometers, etc. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English Must be able to work well with others and be a team player. Must utilize proper PPE (Steel toe boots required) Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm; pay rate is $16/hr.
