Custodian – Government Buildings Government Buildings Division Parks & Recreation Department Application deadline: Wednesday, October 13, 2021 Visit www.icgov.org/jobs to apply online One permanent part time position available, 20 hours per week Wage: $18.69 – $23.88 per hour Hours: Monday, 1:00pm – 7:00pm Saturday, 1:00pm – 8:00pm Sunday, 1:00pm – 8:00pm Job summary: Under immediate direction, performs work in the maintenance and cleaning of City buildings, facilities and grounds. Minimum qualifications: Three months experience required. Must be able to perform routine duties reliably under minimal supervision and must have ability to work independently. Attention to detail required. Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record required. Must be 18 years of age per Iowa Code 92.8. Must pass criminal background check. Preferred qualifications: Six months experience in janitorial or building maintenance; or an equivalent combination of training and experience preferred.
