The southern coast of Spain is full of white rectangles. Side by side and end to end, they have capitalized on lots of space. They are growing fruits and vegetables year-round in thousands of greenhouses. The holy other never forbade Wisconsinites from producing their own produce using inexpensive, sustainable practices. Raising greenhouses is relatively cheap and the work of producing sustenance for yourself and others can be extremely rewarding. In Wisconsin, the outdoor growing season lasts for 5-6 months, then cold from October to April. Nearly half the year is wasted waiting for warmth to arrive again. Idea: Lets start producing more of our produce locally, all year long, on the cheap.
