Arizona Grease Services We are a local and family owned company located in Central Phoenix. We cater to the restaurant industry and provide crucial services such as grease trap cleaning, plumbing, and used cooking oil pickup. We strive to be the best in the business and need like-minded and motivated individuals to continue to achieve that mark. We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of our premises. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as painting, washing (trucks and tanks), truck waste offloading, etc. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the yard and common areas in the best possible condition and to efficiently offload all trucks for the start of next day. Responsibilities Survey premises and vehicles to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards Wash trucks, hoses, and cooking oil tanks as needed Offload truck waste while following safety protocols process raw cooking oil and transfer to tanker when finished Paint new/washed Oil tanks Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix hoses, tools, etc) Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, washing, etc.) Skills Proven experience as maintenance technician Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Good physical condition and strength Schedule Monday - Friday 7AM-3PM Normal Routine A day at the position normally goes as follows but can change based on the needs of the business. -Clock in and look at schedule board for pending items that need to be done Example: -Wash cooking oil tanks with pressure washer -paint cooking oil tanks with roller and brush -Wash Vaccum hoses if any -continue down list as needed -When 12-1pm hits our trucks will start to arrive back at the yard. You will need to empty the water waste from their trucks as well as any used cooking oil they might have. You will do this using the vacuum/pressure pumps that all trucks have mounted. This process usually takes anywhere from 1-2 hours total for all trucks. Once complete you will begin maintenance duties for yard including washing concrete, emptying trash, putting away all tools and hoses etc.
