US Auto Recycling is a new state-of-the-art automobile dismantling, shredding, and recycling plant located on 66 acres directly on I-45 S in Wilmer, TX. Our facility is state of the art and our manufacturing technology is brand new large scale industrial processing equipment. We are seeking an experienced Sr Maintenance Technician responsible to ensure setup and continuous operation of large industrial equipment such as auto shredders, trommell separators, tire shredders, and aluminum furnaces. We are looking for highly skilled, motivated, team players who can help us install and maintain this heavy-duty high-tech equipment. Required competencies include: Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, robotic, hydraulic/pneumatic systems and PLC components. Auto and diesel mechanic skills are a plus. Knowledge of VFDs, gears, grinders, conveyors, hydraulics, and chains Knowledge of NEC requirements/standards Experience operating mills, lathes, tig, mig, stick and arc welders and other fabrication machinery Minimum 5yrs Sr Maintenance Experience required, with industrial equipment Certifications are a plus Occasional weekend work required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 per year
