We are looking for reliable workers willing to learn and work hard, preferably with experience, but willing to train to become a roofer to install various types of roofing systems such as shingles, tile, TPO, etc. People that can quickly identify roofing issues to repair. The roofer will be responsible for installing, repairing, and restoring different roof systems using materials such as asphalt, tile, single ply, and shingles. Responsibilities: • Working on low-slope or steep-slope roofs. • Covering roofs and exterior walls of structures with slate, asphalt, wood, and/or related materials, using brushes, knives, punches, hammers, power tools and other related tools or equipment. • Cutting felt, shingles, or strips of flashing to fit angles formed by walls, vents, or intersecting roof surfaces. • Removing water or debris from roofs prior to applying roofing materials. • Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety regulations. • Maintain professional interaction with all customers, coworkers and management staff. • Will perform other tasks assigned by management or foreman. • Follow all safety procedures as per company policies. Qualifications: • 1-5 years of roofing experience. (Optional) • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. regularly, repeated bending, climbing, kneeling. • Must be able to climb ladders. • Must be able to work in extreme heat. • Must work well in a team environment. • Knowledgeable with all phases of roofing. • High standard of integrity, professionalism, and reliability. • Have all necessary personal tools. • Able to travel overnight from time to time. Must have: • Able to pass a drug screening and background check. • Reliable and show up to work every day.
