URGENT NEED OF HOME: Loving Lap Cat

Oscar is a big friendly neutered tomcat, between 6-7 years old and in great health. He has been my bestfriend for 3 years, but unfortunately I cannot provide him the lifestyle he needs. He is the perfect cat for someone who works from home or is a stay at home parent, or someone who has a regular 9-5 schedule, is retired, or has the land to make him happy as an outdoor or indoor/outdoor cat. He gets stressed and can be destructive when he is home alone for 12+ hours a day or there is a lot of change/upset around him, but when in a stress free home he is the most perfect cat. He will greet you at the door every day, rolls over for belly rubs, and will follow you anywhere. I am under pressure by my roommates to rehome him before the end of September after months of searching, and all shelters have months long waitlists, so I am desperate for the right home for him! Please help!!! -OK with cats -OK with older kids -NOT OK with dogs unless they leave him alone
