My cat needs help...he told me so

So my ex won the lottery and moved to Vegas. She basically decided she didn't want her cat anymore. I wasn't really prepared to keep him but I can't just abandon him. He's an older long haired cat. He's super chill and I really really love him. Our dillema is that- I honestly cannot afford to get him groomed. And I kno his fur is too much for him to handle and He has fleas. Bad. AND His thumbnail has grown so long that its curling right back into his paw. also I think something is wrong with his teeth cuz he eats funny. But that's not the urgent request tonight. Im hoping the universe can find a groomer out there that kuld spare a free visit. Or I'd even take the help of someone who's REALLY handy with a set of clippers. I can't do it by myself bcuz my heart breaks when he cries but it kills me to kno that he's so miserable. I'm doing the best I can. Thank u for ur time.
