Assist with the in store operations, and floor assistant; also will drive company vehicle
for pickup(s) and deliveries of donated items for various entities. Receives and sorts donations, by
categories, for the WHAM Resale Store.
Essential Functions:
1. Must be able to safely maneuver company vehicles (16ft box truck)
2. Responsible for retail store deliveries to the customer’s residences and/or coalition of
churches.
3. Pick up furniture and items received from contributors, accept or refuse donations in
accordance with WHAM policy.
4. Deliver purchased store furniture to customers in accordance with WHAM policy.
5. Pickup(s) required from special events/programs of donated items.
6. When not picking up items, works in the back of the store handling incoming donations and
as needed in the front assisting customers with moving large items to their vehicles.
a.) Lift and sort through bags and boxes of donations.
b.) Proper sorting of quality merchandise.
c.) Placing donated items in the proper areas of the back.
d.) Greet and assist the donors and provide tax receipts.
7. Always displays a pleasant, positive, customer service attitude.
8. Wear proper safety equipment.
