Fryer/Decorator/Baker Positions: $14-$16 DOE We are a Bakery that has been around for more than 50 years. We are looking for hard working people that are not afraid to wake up early and can work hard, fast and efficient. Also, enjoy working in a team environment where we all pull together to make our legendary square donuts along with our other products. We have a few positions open, a fryer/decorator. You will balance between both frying our donuts and decorating them. Wherever we need you is where you will jump in and help. We also have a part time Baker position open. Help the full time bakers bake all bakery products and make sure we are stocked up for out busy holiday season. These positions start between $14-$16 depending on experience. Once you are fully trained and familiar with how we run things at the bakery and our procedures, we will do a review and a raise. Typically, after 90 days. Tasks include, but are not limited to: Fryers --Set fryer station up in mornings (3:30 am start time) --Fry all product, coordinate with lead decorator on which products in what order --Coordinate with bakers on flow of fresh product to be fried --If needed, help decorators and give other support as needed --Clean, in detail, fry area once frying is done for the day --Finish all cleaning lists at end of the day --Communicate with Back-of-the-House Manager regarding any issues with equipment, product, production, ideas and general concerns Decorators --Set up Decorating stations (utensils, orders, donut count, etc.) --Warm up donut icings --Tray donuts as the cool down --Ice donuts as told by lead decorator --Set donuts in front display case according to display chart --When needed, help fryers glaze donuts --Communicate with Back-of-the-House Manager regarding any issues with equipment, product, production, ideas and general concerns Bakers --Ability to read and follow a recipe --Follow the direction of the Lead Baker --Mix donut dough, flatten, cut and proof donuts --Coordinate with fryers for proofing speed of donuts racks --Mix multiple types of bread dough --Weigh and shape as directed by instructions --Make items checked on the bakery board (icings, bread, brownies, pies, etc.) --Work bread through the proof box and oven --Follow oven times, check product correctly --Communicate with Back-of-the-House Manager regarding any issues with equipment, product, production, ideas and general concerns Qualifications – preferred --High School Diploma or equivalent --Minimum of 1 year experience in food service industry --Food Handler’s Permit --Team oriented --Do-Anything attitude If you are interested in working with us, please apply and we’d love to talk with you.
