We are a Fountain, Pond, and Aquarium maintenance and installation company that has been in business over 30 years servicing residential and commercial clients. We are looking to hire a Service Technician to start immediately. This job entails the regular maintenance of our outdoor garden ponds, indoor and outdoor fountains, weekly/monthly maintenances, seasonal cleanings, startups, winter closings, minor and major equipment repair, and troubleshooting. You will also take part in pond and fountain construction projects as necessary. Additional tasks could include planting plants and trees, mulching, shoveling, raking, using a wheelbarrow, operate large equipment including skid steer, mini excavator, backpack blower, power tools, chainsaw, etc. Experience in this, or related fields, is a plus, but we will train you - you will be working side-by-side with one of our head technicians. We are looking for a long-term employee who can eventually become a head technician and service these accounts on their own. Typical workdays are Monday – Friday 8AM to 5PM, though occasionally that may vary. Most of our work is in the northern New Jersey area. Applicable Skills: • General construction (measuring, cutting, tool use). • Plumbing (installation of PVC pipe and fittings). • Experience to work with hand tools. • Ability to lift 50 lbs. Job Requirements: • Valid NJ driver’s license. • Transportation to/from our shop in Hawthorne, NJ. • Ability to perform physical labor in all weather conditions. • Ability to communicate with clients, coworkers, and other contractors in a professional manner.
