Croatian-born virtuoso guitarist, Ana Vidovic , performs an intimate set of solo classical guitar music.
Ana Vidovic (pronouced, vid-oh-vich), at the age of 13, became the youngest student ever admitted to National Academy of Music in Zagreb, Croatia. She bagan touring that same year, and has continued to charm audiences across the globe ever since and has become known as one of the premiere concert guitarists in the world. Ms. Vidovic’s reputation in Europe led to an invitation to study with Manuel Barrueco at the Peabody Conservatory. She is known for her beautiful tone, precise technique, well-defined phrasing and thoughtful artistry and musicianship. Ms. Vidovic will play a set of some of the great classical guitar pieces live in the Olin concert hall for students, faculty and staff.
