When Public School is closed, Freedom School is open! Public schools are closed on Friday, September 24, 2021, but that doesn't mean that learning and youth-centered socializing must end. Orita's Cross Freedom School is hosting an outdoor experience from 8AM - 2:30PM at Lake Montebello in Baltimore. Youth will participate in various workshops, enjoy recreation and experience a walking tour of Morgan State University. The entire day will be spent outside. This event is free, however, registration is required! We're accepting the first 25 youth only! Ages 6+ only. Register right now! Note: children will need to bring a bagged lunch for the day. Continental breakfast and snacks provided.
