Join neighbors to dedicate a new mural to Community and Unity in Central West Baltimore and the memory of the Hon. Rep. Elijah Cummings. Please join neighbors in Reservoir Hill and Bolton Hill to dedicate a new pair of murals as part of the ongoing revival of Central West Baltimore. The murals were painted by Baltimore artist and educator Ernest Shaw with the strong support of the buildings' owners and the generosity of private donors as well as the Baltimore Office of Promotion & the Arts, Abell Foundation, Baltimore Community Foundation, PNC Bank, and Bolton Hill Community Association. This event is hosted by Alex Aaron of Blank Slate, at 1758 Park Avenue, and will include a brief tour of the murals, remarks from the family of Rep. Cummings, and conversation with city leaders and neighbors about plans to continue to enliven this gateway to West Baltimore. Light snacks will be provided and COVID protocols will be observed.
