Join us at Kingswood Community Center for a Ground Blessing! Seventy-five years of service to thousands of families and residents in northeast Wilmington is worth a big celebration. Since 1946 Kingswood Community Center has been there: For our smallest children, who need loving care and a great start in school For families and residents looking for a place to celebrate life’s joys, or who need a helping hand For our seniors looking for fun activities, support and friendship For community members during the pandemic, providing financial support, laptops for students, hot meals, and all kinds of supplies and support. This new facility will give more children a great start; will offer more youth a place to go to learn and connect after school; will provide more opportunities for fitness and fun; will have a health resource center for access to primary care; will offer community spaces for meetings, parties and performances; and will create an expanded senior center with more activities to keep our seniors fit and sharp. Join us on October 12th from 3:00 - 4:00 pm as we celebrate 75 years of amazing service!
