Trauma-informed care workshop designed to present an awareness level of the impact of trauma on a developing child. Adults working with children with a trauma history often express concerns and frustrations that they feel inadequate to meet the challenges of teaching and reaching kids with a traumatic past. Gaining knowledge and understanding of the needs of kids with a trauma history can make all the difference. In this two-day workshop, you will gain: An understanding of the impact of trauma on a developing child.An understanding of how to maximize a child's sense of felt safety.
