On Saturday, October 2nd we are leading a workshop to cover yoga + injury prevention for runners. This is not your average yoga class! We are going to break down poses, address problem areas, and work through injury prevention techniques. All proceeds are going to Taylor and his team + the Up Center. Get yourself healthy and support a dope cause! __ __ The Why :: __ Two years ago, Taylor heard about a race in Utah that lasts for over four days. A race with almost 30k feet of ascent and 30k feet of descent, which moves through desert and mountains, and true extremes of climate. A 240 miler, appropriately called the “Moab 240”. As he approached two years of sobriety, he decided to tackle the race. What better time to face a challenge as excessive as 240 miles by foot? With a baby at home and a supportive wife, Taylor has used CrossFit and running to prepare for his October, 2021 endeavor, consistently logging high mileage while spending countless hours in the gym, he is working towards this goal to set an example, and to show his little girl that truly, anything is possible with work.
