The River of Divine Mercy Catholic Collaborative is three vibrant parishes located in Dracut, Lowell and Tyngsboro. We are seeking an energetic, engaged team player, with reliable transportation and a valid license to perform janitorial/light maintenance under/with the Maintenance Manager at these three parishes. All tools, supplies and equipment to be provided, except your vehicle. Job type: Part-time Hours per week 15- 20 cumulative among the parishes. Flexibility in hours, day/night, week/weekend support of parishes Able to pass yearly CORI-checks Duties include but are not limited to: • Janitorial care, painting, floor care, wash/wax, vacuuming, sweeping, Rubbish removal, barrels put out weekly for pick up. • Able to lift 50 lbs. • Snow removal including use and knowledge of using snow blower and snow shoveling, spreading ice melt. • Performs manual tasks involved in the maintenance, repair or beautification of Collaborative grounds, parking lots or walkways, such as cutting grass, weeds or brush; loading and unloading vehicles; moving and setting up furniture. • Applicant will work indoors and outdoors; lift and carry heavy objects and equipment; climb ladders or scaffolds; may work varied shifts and/or irregular hours; may work under exposure to high noise levels, elements etc.; and may operate light motor vehicles; may work weekend hours. • Incumbent must be appropriately conservatively attired for work in a church environment while ensuring safety for themselves and others. • Knowledge and experience of the types and uses of small hand tools such as pliers, chisels, hammers, etc.; knowledge and experience of the types and uses of hand-held power tools such as drills; knowledge of the types and uses of tools and equipment used in grounds-keeping • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks to suit the calendar of each parish. • Ability to have electronic access to the Collaborative’s calendar. • Signs changed/put out • Notifying Maintenance Manager of issues • Contact with vendors through Maintenance Manager
