Join us at Chip-in Farm for a fun Halloween family goat yoga class featuring our friendly baby goats! Join us at Chip-in Farm for a fun Halloween kid's yoga class featuring our friendly baby goats! You are invited to wear costumes  that are comfortable to practice yoga in.  Keep in mind the goats might nibble on the costumes.  The Halloween themed class will be taught by Julie Aronis of Little Elephant Yoga. During this class we will move, stretch, explore animal poses and of course pet and play with the baby goats! Participants should bring a yoga mat, blanket, or towel. The class will take place outside on the farm so please dress for the weather and bring sunscreen/and or bug spray as needed. Tickets are $25/child. Parents/Caregivers welcome to join in for free, watch from the picnic tables, or shop for local goods in the farm store! Ages 5 and up What to Bring/Wear: ___ Towel or Blanket ___ Reusable Water Bottle ___ Weather-appropriate clothing (we will be outside!) ___ Sunscreen and bug spray  You Should Know: We will be interacting with goats in this class. While the goats are very friendly, they can get excited and will sometimes bounce off of people. There is a chance that participants may be bumped into, climbed on, or knocked over by the goats. We try to minimize any risk by only inviting our baby goats to participate, but having a baby goat climb on you is part of the experience! Goats are also known for taste testing everything - they may attempt to gently nibble on clothing, towels, toes, and hair during the yoga class. Finally, we will be outside on a farm and our goats have not been toilet trained, so be sure to dress in clothes you don’t mind getting a bit messy! Participants should be sure to wash hands after Goat Yoga. REFUNDS - We will issue credits or refunds in the event of class cancelation. Please check your email an hour before the class to make sure the event is happening! If you are no longer able to join the class please let us know 24 hours ahead of time. We will be happy to issue you a refund or credit for the event. If you let us know after that 24 hour mark we will be happy to issue you a credit. If you are no longer able to attend due to illness please stay home, we will issue you a full credit or refund regardless of timing. Thank you! Chip-In Farm was named in 1944 when members of the Couvee family “chipped in” to purchase a small farm in Bedford. A visit to the farm today brings you back to a simpler time when food was local and farms were family run. The Farmer's Helpers program offers an authentic, process-based, and hands-on farm experience for the next generation. Through Farmer's Helpers participants are given the chance to develop confidence, build community, and learn to become better stewards of their land and environment.
