Join us as we celebrate a living legend in education Join us for a Leadership in Education Network for Children (LENC) Brunch to honor a living legend, Dr. Arlene Clinkscale, the first Black woman educator in the Pearl River School District, Rockland's first Black principal and the first Black woman to hold the position of school superintendent in New York State. We ask that each guest that holds a doctorate degree bring their regalia tam for a picture with Dr. Clinkscale. Cost $125 per person will include a seated brunch, customized gift for Dr. Clinkscale and a gift bag for each guest. Leadership in Education Network for Children (LENC) is an organization of Black and Brown educational leaders in the New York, New Jersey, and the Connecticut area that promotes cultural sustainability, community activism, and educational advocacy.
