Pay Rate: $16 per hour with flight privileges included! Job Description In this role, you will play an important part of our world-leading ground handling operation. You will be working around different aircraft types with focus on safety and attention to detail, completing various aspects of ramp service functions including transferring and loading of cargo, baggage handling, servicing of airplane cabin interiors and other service functions. During cold months, you may also be involved in aircraft deicing operations. Your main job duties may include (not limited to): • Safely operates motorized vehicle (i.e. Tug) to pick-up and deliver cargo/mail between the terminal, warehouse and aircraft. • Loads and unloads cargo/mail on and off aircraft. • Sorts and loads mail and baggage in the outbound baggage room. • Cleans and services cabin interiors, including cockpit and lavatories, assembles, removes and installs passenger service cabin furnishings and supplies. • Performs ground service functions such as connecting/removing ground power and ground start units, water service and draining lavatories. • De-ices and clears aircraft windshields as weather conditions require. • Performs aircraft pushout/two and related guide man functions. • Cleans the exterior of aircraft and performs routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, and facilities.
