Texas LPC Supervisors workshop: 6 hrs supervision and 3 hrs Texas ethics CEs, including new rules, self-care, and cultural competence. Rules: Learn about Texas' Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC) with an overview of current Board rules, including specific changes and information for LPCs, Associates, and Supervisors in Texas. Self-Care: Learn about the importance of self-care as a supervisor and how to encourage self-care for your supervisees; learn through experiential activities throughout the workshop designed to help foster or enhance your self-care practices. Cultural Competence: Learn about our role as mental health clinicians in honoring diversity and inclusion in our own work and the field of counseling, how we can broaden our scope and understanding, continue to learn and grow, and better serve our clients. Michael DeVoll and Jill Tucker are similarly-minded LPC-Supervisors, licensed in Texas. They both have experience in institutions and private practice, with a wide breadth of clinical and supervisory experience.
