Kickoff Fleet Week in Style at the St. Francis Yacht Club with The Guardsmen Please join The Guardsmen for our inaugural Fleet Week Party at St. Francis Yacht Club on October 7th! We'll be kicking off the Fleet Week celebration early this year, as the planes practice for the weekend's big show above us. We’ll have the best view in the city at an incredible venue with both an indoor and outdoor space to enjoy the show and sun, along with three hours of a premium open bar and tasty passed hors d’oeuvres for all. Attire: Dress to impress (and maybe, like you own one of the yachts at the club?). We recommend sport coats for the gentleman and comparably appropriate clothing for the ladies. No denim, please. Please note: In adherence to the city health ordinance, proof of vaccination along with a government-issued ID that matches the name on your vaccination card will be required for entry. FAQs Who are The Guardsmen? The Guardsmen is a non-profit organization dedicated to changing the lives of at-risk youth across the Bay Area. Each year, we send more than 2,500 youths to outdoor education programs and provide scholarships for more than 250 students to attend private schools.  What is the refund policy? As we are a charity, tickets are non-refundable. However, you may transfer your tickets to a friend using Eventbrite. IRS status and the Fair Market Value of the event? The Guardsmen is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation registered under Taxpayer Identification Number 94-1196194. In exchange for this ticket purchase and/or donation, you received goods and services of $50 for GA, $135 for VIP, $0 for donation. This all-volunteer organization, founded in 1947, provides access to high-quality educational and outdoor activities for inner-city youth.  The opportunities created through The Guardsmen's scholarship and campership programs mean that every year kids who otherwise would not have a chance at success are given the opportunity to excel as productive members of society. Each year The Guardsmen sends 2,500 youth to outdoor education programs and provides scholarship support to more than 250 students at Bay Area private schools. The Guardsmen is committed to making sure that fundraising dollars are spent wisely, with the greatest need and highest returns always in mind.
