Fight2Feed was founded in March 2014 as 100% volunteer run and managed to this day. With our expansion to Lake County since the Pandemic, we share in two Chicago counties. Fight2Feed currently rescues an average of 75 - 100,000 pounds of food a week. In 2021 to date, we have rescued close to 2 million pounds of food! As we pivot we are looking at increased food needs in many of our community. From private and independent donations we have been able expand our work and now we are in need of more support to continue the Fight2Feed Program.
