Medical manufacturing company is hiring in Springboro, OH. We have an immediate full-time opening for a Freight Specialist at our facility in Springboro, OH. (Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.) The Freight Specialist is responsible for the timely and effective reporting and processing of all outbound pallet shipment activities. Other duties include; but, not limited to are: • Coordinates and schedules any LTL outbound pickups from a third party with any Hardy location as the consignee, using the Transportation Management System (TMS), • Works closely with the TMS service provider to help find ways to lower our overall inbound/outbound freight costs as a company, • Runs and works daily, weekly and monthly LTL freight reports to keep track of our freights costs and generated savings. • In charge of all TMS training with other departments and the primary resource for all freight issues and inquiries, • Performs all of the Ohio Shipping Product Expeditor duties when and where needed. Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.), Six months related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of both. Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and willing to learn ERP software package. Forklift experience a plus; however, we are willing to train.
