Description

The dancefloor will be open for some boot scootin'... The Out of the Blue Band was formed in the spring of 2011 when Johnnie Bradshaw, who had retired his long-running country band “The Bradshaw Gang” just a few months earlier, decided to join with one of his partners at the Stars Over Texas Jamboree in Waco, Texas and persuaded some former bandmates to join in. Johnnie is known for his tributes to Jim Reeves, and also for his renditions of songs from other country legends such as Hank Thompson, Ernest Tubb, Charlie Pride, Merle Haggard, and others. The Out of the Blue song list always includes music from Dale Watson, Josh Turner, Trace Adkins, and George Strait. As a four or five-piece band Out of the Blue includes other singers who can dish out some Ronnie Millsap, Gary Stewart, Ray Price, and John Conlee. A little bit of old-time rock and roll is also included when the mood is right. Supporting Out of the Blue is local favorite American/Country crooner, Denny Herrin. This gritty music veteran will draw you in with his heartfelt lyrics and delivery. Doors open at 7 PM. The music begins at 8 PM. Food and drink specials will be available during the show. Must be 21 with a valid ID to enter. A Texas bar and taproom that features live entertainment and private event space on the beautiful Georgetown Square.
