Signs of Our Lives, in collaboration with Revision San Diego, invite you to join us in preparation of the Women's Reproductive Rights March
Come join us on Thursday, September 30th for a night of connection, community, and "artivism"! Alex of Signs of Our Lives and Revision San Diego will be supplying fabric paint, stencils, markers, up-cycled cardboard, and other art materials for attendees to paint on their denim jackets or jeans, and/or to make posters in preparation of the Women's Reproductive Rights March taking place on Saturday 10/2.
Tickets are *donation based,* to ensure accessibility to any and all people interested in joining us! Proceeds will be donated to Planned Parenthood in support of Women's Healthcare Rights.
One of Alex's core goals in life is to be an embodiment of what it means to have a growth mindset, both as a human and a creative. Her mission is to demonstrate that you don’t have to have spent years of your life in art school, or own a creative business, to make beautiful things. You don't need to have a stereotypic "creative" bone in your body, or be born with a "natural ability" to learn something new. She believes that abilities can be taught, and that an open mind and lots of practice is the way to expand your skillset.
