We are a well established, family owned Boat Dealership and Service Company who is currently looking for a Service Coordinator to join our team.
Often the first point of contact our customers have with the service department, the Service Coordinator needs to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be a solid team player, offer world class customer service and be resourceful. Prior experience in Customer Support or Business Administrative roles a plus.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting visitors inquiring about service, answering a high-volume of incoming phone calls and delivering warm, caring, world class service to our customers.
- Being resourceful and making sure customers get the information they need.
- Manage warranty claims from start to finish
- Order and/or Pick up parts for Brokerage, Service and assist in New Boat commissioning of parts
- Categorize and Approve Service Dept. Accounts Payables
- Utilize Quickbooks to write invoices and send to customers
- Support Service Job and Technicians
Service Coordinator Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience in Customer Service or in related field.
- Experience in Marine industry and/or history of Boating
- Positive, optimistic attitude with initiative and problem solving skills
- Consistent, professional dress and manner.
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Publisher and Outlook.
- Good time management skills.
- Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required.
- Knowledge of Quickbooks or ability and desire to learn
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000-$48,000 DOE
