Fall Floral Arranging Class at McCrory Gardens at Fall Festival, October 10, 2021, with instructor Elizabeth Schmid! Wouldn’t you love to be able to create an inviting fall floral centerpiece of your own? It might sound a little intimidating! We’re certain YOU can do it, especially with guidance AND the ultimate garden’s worth of florals and finds. Bring your own container and collect flowers and other beautiful plant parts from McCrory Gardens to create your own arrangement during our Fall Festival! Designer and instructor Elizabeth Schmid of 'Out of the Bloom' will artfully guide you through the process and provide tips to make your own beautiful fall floral arrangement! Liz will lead you through the gardens to seek out plants you may want to use for your design! For this in-person class, please bring with you: a container for your arrangement (not too big, not too small - Liz's tip - think basketball size for your finished arrangement)your own garden shearsgloves, if wanteda container to hold the plant materials you collect from throughout McCrory Gardens (a 5-gallon pail can work well for this)please keep in mind weather appropriate clothing and shoes (gardens can be wet, muddy)We will spend some time in the gardens, gathering plant materials and then be creating arrangements in our indoor space.
