Comedy Night at Untapped Territory - a Beerly Funny Production *Showtime is 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m.* Beerly Funny is thrilled to partner with Untapped Territory to bring stand-up comedy to Lincolnton, NC yet again! Our show features three stand-up comedians from North Carolina. The show will be held at The Garage, Untapped Territory's new and expanded event space! Join us for laughs on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. Showtime is 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 per person in advance or $20 at the door. Tickets are available in-person at Untapped Territory or on Eventbrite. Anticipated show rating is Adult PG-13. Note: Tickets are sold exclusively through Beerly Funny via Eventbrite or in-person at Untapped Territory. All sales are final and non-refundable. OUR COMEDIANS: HEADLINER ANDY FORRESTER - Based in Raleigh, NC, Andy Forrester's unique, animated, and off-the-wall humor has made him a favorite across the country for over 20 years. He’s worked with such legends as Louie Anderson, Jimmie “JJ” Walker, Gilbert Gottfried, Marc Maron and many more. In 2008 Andy won the title of Ultimate Comic at the Idiot Box in Greensboro, NC. In 2013 he won the Louisville, KY satellite of the World Series of Comedy. Over the years he’s been seen at the Laugh Your Asheville Off Comedy Festival, the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival, the NC Comedy Festival just to name a few. In 2017 Andy made his first TV appearance on the show “Pure-Flix Comedy All-Stars” hosted by Louie Anderson. In August of 2019 his Dry Bar Comedy Special “Most Of This Is Baby Fat” was released. Andy was also recently featured on the new Circle Network show, “Stand Up Nashville! - Live from Zanies” in 2020. While he has survived the pandemic, Andy is ready to get away from his family and make you laugh. *PSSST: Andy grew up in Lincolnton, NC and is excited to perform in his hometown!* FEATURE MATT WHITE - Matt White is a class clown success story. He went from distracting classmates to engaging audiences. Winner of Helium’s NC Funniest Person 2020, Carolina’s Funniest Comic 2013, & Port City’s Top Comic 2012. Matt’s Mission is to find the funny in every situation life throws his way. Matt’s comedy journey began in College when acting dreams led him to join the campus’s Improv Troupe. He later founded his own comedy organization on campus which eventually branched off campus becoming the local comedy scene in the area. Matt’s dedication to the craft shines through as he gives back to the comedy community. He coaches/teaches stand-up, sketch, and improv classes. Matt has performed in comedy festivals across the US. Asheville Comedy Festival (Asheville NC), Red Clay Comedy Festival (Atlanta GA), Scruffy City Comedy Festival (Knoxville TN), LA Diversity In Comedy Festival (Los Angeles CA) , Big Pine Comedy Festival (Flagstaff AZ), In 2019 Matt performed at the Cleveland Comedy Festival and of selected as one off the “Best Of Fest”. He is the co-producers of the Oak City Comedy Festival (Raleigh NC). Matt has opened for Tommy Davidson, Micheal Rapaport, Dusty Slay, Andy Forrester, Greg Fitzsimmons, Greg Warren, Bobcat Goldthwait, Roy Wood Jr, Donnell Rawlings, Brent Morin, Tim Meadows, and more. SPOTLIGHT PERFORMER JIMMY BRIGGS: Originally from the mountains of NC, Jimmy moved to Charlotte two years ago and has been making crowds laugh with his witty storytelling and observational humor. HOST & SHOW PRODUCER: LAUREN ANSLEY - Based in Charlotte, NC, Lauren Ansley is a stand-up comedian, emcee/show host, show producer, and founder of Lauren Ansley Presents and Beerly Funny. She has been a featured performer in several comedy festivals throughout the Carolinas, named one of the comedians to know by Charlotte Five and was featured in The Charlotte Observer. She has opened for nationally touring headliners Dale Jones, Preacher Lawson, Sean Patton, Grandma Lee, Sean Finnerty and Michael Palascak. Her passion to make others laugh and slight southern accent are only overshadowed by her infectious smile and abnormal height of 5’13”.
