The K9S 35-ft electric buses are equipped with a 266kWh iron phosphate battery and can be fully charged in less than 4 hours. The charging facility, installed with the help of Georgia Power, is situated just minutes away from the historic Macon-Bibb Terminal Station. The electric buses will provide Macon-Bibb County residents with quiet, zero-emission rides to their destinations. MTA currently has plans to add 2 more electric buses by the end of 2021. Up to $16 million, delivered over the next five years, for public transportation and alternative fuels will be headed for Macon-Bibb County if the federal infrastructure bill passes. Producer of educational and promotional webinars, roundtables, conferences and events on clean fuel fleet conversions, electric vehicle and infrastructure projects, natural gas vehicle engine technologies, natural gas fueling stations, solar and renewable energy project management, government financing, tax credits, public policy and transit.
