Spend fall break camping in the pines, learning survival skills, and making your own kitchen knife on a forge in Flagstaff. This is a fall break camp like no other. We will spend Monday on the 4-H Ropes Course and packing our meals for the rest of the week. On Tuesday, we will drive to Flagstaff where we will learn survival skills, camp under the stars, hike, and explore. On Wednesday we will explore the lava tubes just outside of Flag. On Thursday and Friday we will head to a blacksmithing shop where we will get to make our own knives to bring home to use for cooking. We are only bringing 6 teens on this trip. We are looking for 6 people who really want to learn survival skills and blacksmithing. The idea is that if a participant enjoys this experience they will be eligble to be counselors in subsequent survival skills and blacksmithing camps in the future. This camp is designed for young people 12+
