Description
Join us for "A Walk to Remember." Honoring the beautiful life of Haylee Stilwell-Gummert Join us on October 16, 2021, to remember and honor the beautiful life of Haylee Stilwell-Gummert. Haylee passed away at the age of 18, on July 9, 2020, unexpectedly due to Epilepsy. She enjoyed swimming, dirt biking, four wheeling, going on drives and had a love for animals, especially her cat. Haylee loved being with her cousin and best friend, Moriah. They were inseparable. She was also very independent, had a silly side to her and an infectious laugh. Her smile was bright and beautiful and is remembered by many. "A Walk to Remember Haylee" will take place outdoors around Lake Francis at the Sartell Community Center, starting at 8:30 a.m. Registration starts at 8:30am. Remembrance ceremony starts at 9:30 a.m. at the Angel of Hope. Individuals will be able to share a memory or speak about Haylee. Roses will be available for purchase and can be placed near the Angel of Hope. Remembrance signs will be available to purchase for $15 each. These signs will have your favorite photo of Haylee along with a personalized memorial message. Please email your selected photo and short message to [email protected] after completing registration. (SAMPLE BELOW) Walk will start at 10am. Please dress according to the weather. The cost of the event will be $25 per adult and will include a walk t-shirt. Juniors under the age of 18 are $15 and include a t-shirt (limited youth sizes available). IN ORDER TO BE GUARANTEED A T-SHIRT, YOU MUST REGISTER BY THIS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2021. **Orders placed after Friday, Sept. 24, will NOT be guaranteed a shirt due to the shortage from the pandemic, but we will be ordering extra t-shirts available at a FCFS basis. In honor of Haylee, we are raising funds to purchase a personalized granite bench to put in her favorite park. We feel it would raise awareness of her life and her memory would live on through the friends, family and visitors of the park. If you are interested in supporting us as we try to raise additional funds from friends, family and local businesses, please email: [email protected] for the donation form.
