Enrich. Empower. Engage is a gala to benefit the mission of the Safe Haven Counseling Foundation. Enrich. Empower. Engage is a gala to benefit the mission of the Safe Haven Counseling Foundation. All proceeds from this event will be utilized to support mental health services for individuals, couples, and families who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford services. Safe Haven Counseling was founded in May, 2016 with the goal of providing excellence in counseling services to individuals, couples, and families in order to provide hope, healing, and restoration to the hurting in our local community. Safe Haven partners with counselors throughout Northeast Alabama to provide mental health services on a sliding scale in order to make services accessible to all, regardless of income. Safe Haven has been able to achieve this mission through the generous support and contributions of our local community. Safe Haven strives to keep overhead costs low so that the majority of funds is utilized for direct client services.Enrich. Empower. Engage will feature live music by Jeremy Lesley, dancing, dinner provided by Hubbard's Off Main, and the presentation of our Hope Award to honor a member of the local community who exemplifies the mission of Safe Haven. The gala will be our primary fundraiser this year, and will help to ensure that Safe Haven continues to provide much needed services to our local community. We hope you will come out for a night of fun, food, and music in support of a wonderful cause! The Safe Haven Counseling Foundation was established on the belief that everyone, regardless of income, should have access to quality mental health services. To that end, we partner with local counselors to offer mental health counseling on a sliding scale fee system based on income.
