IMMEDIATE EMPLOYMENT BAY AREA BOX is the bay area's premier "USED" cardboard box buyer and seller. We are a packaging supply company established in 2000 that specializes in used cardboard boxes. The position requires one's ability to lift 50lbs. We are a very small company that stays busy. Your responsibilities would be to receive loads of cardboard to be re stacked, sorted and tied together/banded. Once the boxes have been stacked and tied down they would be put into inventory for resale. Other duties would be to keep the warehouse clean and in order. There is ROOM FOR IMMEDIATE ADVANCEMENT in the driver position. Driver is required to pick up and deliver boxes as well as work in the warehouse. This job requires one to be self reliant, flexible and work well alone yet have a friendly face when visiting clients as they come for orders/will call or if your delivering in the driver position. Our truck is a class C. If YOU HAVE A CLEAN DMV PRINT OUT please have it ready if you are physically interviewed. Phone interviews will happen prior to physical. FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE and DRIVING of a 24 moving truck/bobtail is a plus but we will train you on the forklift as well as truck driving. THIS IS A MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY JOB with NO weekends unless the weekend is discussed which would provide OVERTIME. As of now the job is 40-45 hours per week. PAID HOLIDAYS and VACATION. Flexible work environment. Hours are typically 7am to 4pm with paid lunch. If driving your day could start earlier and end earlier.
