We are seeking a highly motivated person who loves operations and hands-on work. We will rely on you to manage our operational processes and procedures for two e-commerce womenswear apparel brands sharing a fulfillment space (Brass & Alice Walk). You will be responsible for managing workloads for yourself and an additional fulfillment team member, and overseeing the warehouse space. DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES : Manage the fulfillment of all customer and wholesale orders including: Managing fulfillment operations through our retail management and shipping systems (Shopify, Shipstation and Shippo). Picking and packing all customer orders with utmost attention to detail. Coordinating with our representatives at various shipping carriers for order pick up. Assigning workloads & delegating tasks to our other fulfillment team member. Receive and restock returned orders including inspecting, steaming and folding returned pieces back to their original condition. Return them back into inventory. Receive, quality inspect and stock new inventory. Create a system for daily inventory management to ensure inventory count matches quantities available on our website/Shopify. Take any opportunity possible to create an incredible customer experience! Maintain a neat and organized work environment. Communicate with Operations Managers about any warehouse issues / needs. NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: Extremely detail-oriented with strong follow-through. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects in a fluid environment. Sense of urgency in time management and task completion. Proactive problem-solving. If you see an opportunity for optimization, figure out how to implement it. Takes initiative and sees tasks that need to be completed. Experience in an apparel retail environment is a plus! Comfortable using computers & learning new software; experience with Shopify, Excel, shipping platforms would be ideal. JOB DETAILS: Approximately 30-40 hours per week, Monday - Friday Start and stop time somewhat flexible (between 8am - 5pm) Paid hourly (Rate to be determined based on experience) Become an integral team member of two small-but-growing women-owned businesses!
