Here are the top stories today in Spokane: Tyrell Hemphill, 21, is being held in Spokane County Jail Wednesday after allegedly blowing through a stoplight. Witnesses and police say Hemphill was seen striking another vehicle at W. Indiana Ave. and N Washington St., fatally injuring the driver. Hemphill has been in Spokane courts multiple times this year on speeding and other driving-related charges. (KHQ Right Now)Investigators found a body in the Spokane River near Downriver Golf Course on Tuesday. The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office and Spokane Fire responded to the scene and recovered the body of a man who they believe was in his early 30s. There is no indication of foul play during this time and the body is yet to be identified.
