Press release from the City of Norfolk: September 21, 2021 NORFOLK, VA – The media is invited to attend the City of Norfolk's first ever Poetry on the Pavement unveiling!   The first poem will be unveiled by youth poet and 6th grade Norfolk Public Schools' student Shaaron Hernandez Chamul. A committee of arts experts selected 25 poems by local poets.  The poems will be stenciled on hundreds of sidewalks citywide throughout the month of October as a celebration of Visual Arts Month.  This press release was produced by the City of Norfolk.
