TOWSON, MD — With potentially heavy rain in the forecast, organizers canceled this week's farmers market. The market is usually held outside from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursdays along Allegheny Avenue. "We want to keep our vendors and patrons safe," Towson Farmers' Market organizers said in a statement. Baltimore County is under a flash flood watch from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday. Severe thunderstorms with damaging winds, a tornado and flooding are possible Thursday, according to a hazardous weather outlook from the National Weather Service. About 1 to 2 inches of rain may fall Thursday in Towson, based on the forecast.
