Here are the top stories today in Burlington: Burlington police are trying to identify a group of people who attacked a man on the corner of Church and College streets. Investigators did not share the video of the aggravated assault, but they say everyone in the video is considered a person of interest in the case. The attack happened at about 2:25 a.m. on Sept. 12. (WCAX) COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Vermont schools among students and staff only weeks into the start of the school year. Since the beginning of the semester, 344 positive COVID-19 cases have been reported from Vermont schools. Education Secretary Dan French said the Agency of Education is hearing from schools that the current contact tracing model is unsustainable.
