Our Portland cl bass player(s) both flaked. We are very seasoned, educated, and accomplished (not shred don't worry) guitarist/keyboardist and pro accomplished L.A. drummer seek bassist willing to drive south I-5 a little ways(Rainier Oregon) to jam on the spot spontaneous originals and intuitive improv. Industrial zoning means loud Rock with no way to complain. We like the usual intelligent suspects: Rush, Yes, UFO, DP, Zep, King Crimson, Kansas, Boston, Utopia, Pat Travers, 70's Heart, Early Scorps(70's Ulrich Roth years), Budgie, AC/DC, Soundgarden etc, etc, etc, but ALSO dig Fusion like: Weather Report, Pat Metheny, Coltrane, Gordon Beck, Pekka Pohjola, Soft Machine, Brand X, National Health, Pierre Moerlen's Gong, RtF. If you're a METAL guy/gal, we can do that too! We like anything good and jammin but can get mellow or Soft Rock too. We are open-minded creative and eclectic/versitile musicians. * * If you can swing the drive, we'd love to have a serious town bassist/musician sit-in at least once? * *
