Tanger Outlets Houston continues to expand its retail roster with the addition of six women- and minority-owned small businesses. The open-air shopping destination introduces a variety of new offerings to satisfy shoppers with the recent openings of Lex & Mae Southern Yankee, Hana Brands, S+S Sweet Spot, E&A Outlaws Western Wear, CKD’s Golf Carts and Aim On Target. The local brands join other community favorites at the outlet center including Vera Bradley, Columbia, Under Armour and more! “We continuously look for opportunities to support local, women-and minority-owned businesses to ensure diverse store selections at the center that meet the needs of our community,” said Tanger Outlets Houston Marketing Director Oliver Runco. “These new additions along with shopper-favorite national brands provide guests with an exceptional experience and further establish Tanger Outlets Houston as the go-to destination for all shopping needs.” Relocated from the Kemah Boardwalk to Tanger Outlets Houston, Lex & Mae Southern Yankee occupies 3,200 square feet of retail space in Suite 320 across from Gap. The female-owned and operated local shop offers trendy graphic tees, rodeo-ready and boho-inspired apparel, statement accessories and more. On a mission to help all women feel their best while being active, attending events or simply lounging and relaxing, minority-owned Hana Brands offers comfortable and accessible women’s apparel, intimates, formal wear, swimwear and footwear for all lifestyles along with a wide variety of women’s plus sizes. The 2,706-square-foot store is now open in Suite 360 next to Express. S+S Sweet Spot invites shoppers to celebrate all of life’s sweet moments with an array of candy favorites in larger-than-life sizes. Now open with 3,242 square feet of retail space in Suite 710 across from Chico’s, the women-owned sweet spot offers arcade games, a venue for birthday parties, fresh cotton candy, popcorn and out-of-the-box candy concoctions. E&A Outlaws Western Wear brings its only retail location in the Houston area to Tanger Outlets, relocating from League City. The minority-and family-owned retailer specializes in well-crafted, handmade western boots in a variety of designs, colors and exotic materials such as deer, ostrich, alligator and python. The store’s additional offerings include a vast assortment of handmade accessories such as wallets, jackets, belts, handbags and phone cases. The shop is now open in Suite 745 near American Eagle Outfitters in a 1,708-square-foot space. CKD’s Golf Carts specializes in golf carts with attitude by transforming the average golf cart into a fun, multi-purpose vehicle. Featuring exclusive custom designs and accessories for both electric and gas golf carts, the women-owned brand occupies 3,500 square feet of retail space in Suite 910 between Old Navy and Under Armour. Rounding out the new additions, minority-owned Aim On Target opens with 3,000 square feet in Suite 820 next to Chico’s. The experiential store offers kids and families a fun venue to shoot air guns at targets for the chance to win prizes.
