NEED Teachers for read and write classes

Did you know... there are about 630,000 people in South Florida, that are considered to be illiterate??? This is an awful fact. We want to help turn this around. We are a non-profit organizing classes to teach adults how to read and write (for English speakers). Giving the gift of literacy is to also receive a great gift of satisfaction, when you help them open up their world. Imagine helping someone overcome not being able to read street signs, menus, directions, messages, emails, books, etc. We have a large classroom available at our office. We need help to organize the course study and schedule, and to teach the classes. We would like to have multiple volunteers to help rotate the schedule and keep the commitment palatable for all of the volunteers. Maybe, you can teach for two nights a week or one night a month. Whatever you can do, that's OK. 👍 As well, I believe, anyone that can read and write English, properly, can teach these basic classes. You do not need to be an accredited teacher.
