To process manufacturers’ goods received by the Distribution Center prior to shipment to individual retail stores under the general direction of the Distribution Center Coach and Managers, and do related work as required. Work Schedule: 1st shift: 6:00am- 2:30pm, Monday - Friday (Overtimes on Saturday du) during peak season) 2nd shift: 3:00pm- 11:30pm, Monday - Friday (Overtimes on Saturday during peak season) Payrate and Benefits: 1st Shift: Pay Starts at $17.50 an hour and will increase once you complete your probationary period and future raises are based on performance Benefits Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Life Insurance, PTO, and Holiday pay 2nd Shift: Pay Starts at $19.00 an hour and will increase once you complete your probationary period and future raises are based on performance Benefits Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Life Insurance, PTO, and Holiday pay Location: Site is located on W. Sugar Rd. Tracy, CA. 95304 Primary Responsibilities: 1. Upload, separate, palletize and tag incoming freight for receipt into company inventory. 2. Verify all shipments have correct carton counts and that all damaged merchandise and shortages are identified and noted before signing carriers freight bill. 3. Put away merchandise. 4. Retrieve merchandise from stock locations (air and floor) using manual and powered industrial equipment and RF guns, prior to consolidation at the shipping dock for distribution to individual retail stores. 5. Prepare outbound trailers each day for shipment. 6. Load store merchandise into trailers according to shipping department’s load sequence. 7. Assist in the staging of store merchandise in appropriate area to be loaded. 8. Update data in system of all merchandise transferred from one location to another. 9. Resolve discrepancies with quantities on hand after investigation of shipments. Notify Coach of discrepancies for immediate resolution. 10. Document work necessary to complete daily production logs. 11. Operate and use forklift and powered industrial equipment to expedite the movement of goods. 12. Comply with all Company policies, including safety, attendance, productivity, housekeeping and quality guidelines. 13. Perform any other duties as assigned by management. 14. Must be able to lift 50 pounds 15. Must be able to work around heavy equipment such as fork lifts and all power equipment and be aware of your surroundings. 16. Training background a plus Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be at least 18 years old. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong sense of urgency to effectively complete multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to perform job duties productively and accurately. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Ability to do repetitive tasks. Safety conscious. Overtime before and after shift may be required.
