Questions still abound on how this "herb" will be judged. Cal Expo's board of directors approved the top pot competition, though, so we know it will be part of the fair. Winners will likely be able to showcase their cannabis plants, but marijuana won't be available to sample, purchase or consume. (CBS Sacramento)The search for a downed paraglider was called off Tuesday night, hours after it had started. Police said they did a thorough search of the deep water channel in West Sacramento where the paraglider was thought to have gone down. They used drones and manned planes to search, but no person was found. It is unclear why police believed a paraglider had gone down in the area. No other information was available. (CBS Sacramento)Police are asking for your help identifying a man that was in an accident and found at the corner of Fulton and Marconi avenues in Sacramento's Arden-Arcade area on Aug. 24. Since being taken to UC Davis Medical Center two weeks ago, the man has been unable to identify himself or tell anyone where he is from. Hospital workers and CHP officers say the man speaks Spanish, is around 50 years old, 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 167 pounds. Anyone who knows the man is asked to call CHP officers Eulogio Ceja or A.J. McTaggart, both of whom also speak Spanish. (KCRA3) An inmate at the Sacramento County Main Jail died on Tuesday while in the custody of the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office. The Sheriff's Office is investigating, but said that there does not appear to be any foul play. According to the sheriff's office, the 54-year-old man had been booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on Aug. 10 for a parole violation and was to be released on Sept. 24.
