Press release from the PMC Kids Ride for Pedal Partners: Sept. 21, 2021 An inspiring eight-year-old cancer survivor out of Brentwood, NH raised funds for cancer research in this year's PMC Kids Ride for Pedal Partners on Sept. 19. Maggie Goodes was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) at just four years old in October 2017. She was quickly welcomed into the PMC community by becoming a Pedal Partner and fundraising for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This year, now eight-year-old Maggie is hopping on her bike alongside her friend, another cancer survivor, to honor four years since their diagnosis and four years of being friends on their journey together. Maggie is truly an inspiration to those around her at just eight-years-old with big plans to continue fundraising in the future. On Sunday, September 19, hundreds of children go on their bikes at their homes for this year's PMC Kids Ride program, giving them the opportunity to join the thousands of adult PMC cyclists in their mission to reach the PMC's $56 million fundraising goal supporting adult and pediatric patient care and cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
