General Purpose
This position is primarily responsible for completing customer orders by performing the following duties.
Primary Role and Responsibilities:
Working in the Warehouse
o Prepare and release orders with efficiency and outstanding customer service
o Load and unload containers or trucks by equipment or hand
o Handle customer return of defective items, fill out MRF (Merchandise Return Form)
o Arrange and allocate products by designating assigned storage areas
o Maintain clean shipping supply area, complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
o Follow all safety procedures and practices
o Other duties as assigned
Organization
o All employees are responsible for observing safety and security procedures as applicable and reporting potentially unsafe conditions to management
Experience
o Minimum 2 years’ warehouse work experience
o Valid NC driver license preferred
o Experience working in a fast pace environment
o Must be self-motivated
o Ability to multi-task
o Box truck driving experience is a plus
Working Conditions
o Frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel
o Frequently required to lift and/or move over 60 pounds
o Regularly required to talk or hear
o The noise level is usually moderate
o Specific vision abilities required are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision, and ability to adjust focus
