NAPERVILLE, IL — A second bank was robbed in Naperville Wednesday, just over 24 hours after a "violent" robbery at Fifth-Third Bank, FBI officials say. The suspect in Wednesday's robbery is at large after fleeing the bank and jumping over a fence and into a nearby neighborhood. Authorities say a man entered the BMO Harris Bank at 1795 South Washington St. just before 10:30 a.m. Wednesday and presented a note and a white garbage bag to the teller. No weapons were displayed or suggested, according to a news release. The suspect was described as a male of unknown age with a thin to average frame standing between 5 feet 8 and 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, navy pants, a black face covering and purple gloves. Police responded to what FBI officials called a "violent" robbery at Fifth-Third Bank, 2644 Showplace Dr. around 9 a.m. Tuesday. The suspect in that robbery presented a handgun and fled on foot and was still at large as of Wednesday. FBI authorities told Patch there was no further comment as of Wednesday afternoon. image via FBI Chicago
