Description
PHILADELPHIA — A woman upset with the service at a Philadelphia Chipotle pulled out a gun to demand her food, police said.
The incident occurred on Saturday, Sept. 18 at around 5 p.m. at the restaurant located on the 2300 block of Cottman Avenue.
That particular Chipotle location was experiencing a staffing shortage, and the manger closed the store and told the customers waiting in line to place their orders online, according to police.
When the suspect heard the news, however, she decided to pull out a handgun and ask to speak to a manger, authorities said.
The woman put her gun back in her purse and then placed her order, saying "somebody better give me my food."
An employee made the woman's order in an effort to get her to leave, and the woman left without paying, police said.
The suspect is wanted for robbery, and police are asking for the public's help in tracking her down. Anyone who has information on the incident should contact police at 215-686-8477.
